Steer Remote was first released to the public in 2019. This turnkey product enables any piece of heavy equipment to be operated remotely. The Steer remote product is usually used in hazardous working environments like; explosives, radioactivity, avalanches, mudslides, etc. Operators can be located thousands of kilometers away from the machines they are running.
Operator chair with joysticks and typically two or three control panels (touch screens):

showing low-latency (optimized) video streams from the machine
Wireless network infrastructure
Various Steer components
installed in the machine to enable remote control. Machines that do not have electronically controlled valves will need to have the hydraulic system modified. It is preferred to use brand new construction equipment with electronically controlled valves when using Steer products.
